Can you move into retirement developments with restricted access or booking windows?
Yes – this is something we manage regularly. Churchill and McCarthy Stone developments in Chelmsford and Colchester have specific delivery windows, lift booking requirements and parking restrictions. We liaise with the site manager in advance on every move.
We’ll give you a clear timeline when we visit and are flexible around retirement village availability dates and your family’s schedule.
My parent has not decided what to keep yet - is that a problem?
Not at all. Our multi-session declutter approach is designed exactly for this. We work through belongings together at your loved one’s pace over as many visits as needed. Nothing is rushed or decided without their input.
Donated items are taken to local charities. Items for storage go into our own facility. A full house clearance for remaining contents is included in The Complete Transition package.
